Monobenzone Powder Concentrate
Monobenzone is a colorless solid classified as hydroquinone monobenzyl ether. Monobenzone is soluble in alcohol, benzene and ether, and almost insoluble in water. Monobenzone is a decolorizing agent, and the molecular mechanism of its action may be related to tyrosinase. Monobenzone was synthesized under microwave irradiation with hydroquinone, sodium hydroxide and benzyl chloride as raw materials and N, n-dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent.
